I've had had major periodontal disease, I've had loose teeth. I came to him with a mouth full of silver, basically, and he has given me truly a beautiful smile. The stains are gone, my gums are healthy, makes it much easier to smile, it really does.

My oral health is better than it's ever been, and for that I'm really grateful. He really makes it more of a partnership in terms of decisions and what's to be done and how it will be done, and for me that's important. I've had trouble with my teeth since I was a little girl, and obviously built up a great deal of anxiety about going to the dentist. So that fact that he's been able to do as much work and I trust him is significant. And he's very sensitive to that, and dealing with anxiety and fear. But he's made it a whole lot easier.

Back when I was about nine or 10 years old, I chipped my front tooth in half, and so I had had a bridge, that was like 25 years old and just because it was so ole, I had some receding gums and you could see some of the metal that the porcelain was on. SO it was awful. And I had gone to other dentists, that had given me quotes to do something. I had to go to like three different specialists to get everything done and I came here and he was like, "We're just gonna do this. This is gonna look fine."

I didn't have to get any gum stuff done, I didn't have to get a bunch of other stuff done. He was just like, "We'll just make it so that the tooth is a little bit bigger, it's not gonna look funky, it's gonna look fine." That's what he did. I did have to get an implant, and then I also got two crowns done. It was fantastic. I was so pleased, and I got so many compliments about how it looked, and everybody just loved it. This is the only person that I would ever refer anybody to, based on my own experiences. I would trust him to treat them just the same as he has treated me.

My teeth had kind of gotten ... they had been wearing out. I'd had acid reflux, and I had a different dentist who, nice guy, but he knew that he could only do so much with it. We'd patched to them to the point where they just weren't holding up anymore.

We pretty much started over, and everything on the top is capped. The bottom has got some caps, but he was able to repair some of the bottom. The other thing that he did that I certainly notice, it doesn't have anything to do with the smile, was restored the bite, so that everything fits together right. It had gotten to the point where, no matter what, there was always one tooth that was high, or something else. Comfort-wise, I do notice it a little bit when I sleep, that everything fits together. I don't get any of the sore jaw type things. That was actually a big ... before we even got into any of the cosmetic stuff, that was probably the bulk of the early work, was just getting the bite restored and having everything fit together right.

You can tell he's a perfectionist. He would say, "How does it feel? Is it good?" I'd be good, and then he'd want to check a few more things. You know, at the end, I think that all paid off. It's pleasant, pleasant, certainly cares about getting everything right and how you feel about what he's doing. It was a good experience for me.

One thing that he did is he started Invisalign with me about two years ago. My teeth are actually smaller than my jawlines so I had really bad gaps. Obviously, there's a little discomfort. I just remember my sisters going through the old traditional orthodontics and not easy to brush your teeth, having the issue of not wanting to smile because you have these horrible things on your teeth. Invisalign if you're going out to eat, you just don't wear them. You can pop them off. I actually used denture cleaner on them so they were always clean. I didn't have to worry about any debris or anything like that. Again, when you're going from one size to the next, there is a little discomfort, but it's more tightness as opposed to real pain or anything like that's. So it's actually a really good system.

He's in the process of doing bonding. So he's actually done the top. He'll probably do the bottoms in about a month or so. He's willing to work with me as far as what my budget can accommodate as well as working with my insurance company. It's just the fact that he's very personable and very easy going and he listens to my concerns and what's realistic for me. He actually works with what my ultimate needs are.
