Get to Know Your Royal Oak Dental Team

Ashley joined our practice in 2014 working as a sterilization tech and chairside assistant. She graduated from Macomb Community College with a certificate from the Nurse Assistant Program. Ashley has the ability to make any patient calm and at ease during their appointment. Ashley got married in 2013 to her husband, Adam, and resides in Eastpointe. In their free time, they enjoy the outdoors, camping, and going up north.

Meghan started her employment with Dr. Duffield as a co-op student in 2009. She loved dentistry so much that she made it her career and is now Dr. Duffield’s lead dental assistant. Her determination to succeed, strong work ethic, and happy personality have made her a wonderful asset to the staff. Her bright smile welcomes each patient. Meghan keeps busy outside of work chasing around her very active son, Jaxon!

Melissa joined Dr. Duffield’s team in 2013 and is licensed in local anesthesia and administration of inhaled sedation. She graduated in 2013 from Baker College of Auburn Hills with her associate’s degree in dental hygiene. Melissa is very passionate about dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and Oakland County Dental Hygienists’ Association. She loves educating her patients and can’t wait to answer your oral hygiene questions! When not working, Melissa loves spending time with her husband, Mike, and their son, Benjamin.

Kim joined Duffield Dentistry in 2012 and has been a loyal asset. She started in the dental field as a co-op student in high school. Since then, she has worked in various positions of a dental office, ranging from front desk to dental assistant to now a registered dental hygienist. She is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. Kim lives in Troy with her daughter, Meghan, and her two college-aged boys, Jordan and Ben. In her spare time, Kim plays competitive tennis for Troy Racquet Club.

Lauren joined Duffield Dentistry in 2012. She works as a hygiene coordinator and helps the office run smoothly. Born and raised in Royal Oak, Lauren graduated from Central Michigan University in 2012 with a degree in commercial recreation, hospitality, and event management. Lauren generally is the first person you’ll see when arriving at Duffield Dentistry. You will be greeted by her high-spirited and spunky personality.
